Gabriella (Gabby) was working her way through an industry that
was unkind to new comers but she truly believed if she paid her dues she’d be
able to get the chance to become the screen writer she always wanted to
be. Gabby was a strong and fiercely independent
woman who loved her country roots but wanted more for herself. She knows what her mother gave up for them
and as much as she admire her mother Gabby wanted just a bit more than the life
her parents had. Luck would have it Gabby
met famous fashion photographer Flynn McCreary who gave Gabby her first
modeling job. Yes it was just her hands doing
the modeling but it couldn’t hurt right?
Besides she needed the money.
This is the first book in the Pure Lust series and boy was
it hot! When Gabby first meet Flynn it’s
an insistent love/hate relationship. She
knew he would be a thorn in her side when she saw him but little did Gabby know
just what Flynn was capable of. Just
when Gabby’s life couldn’t get more complicated she meet her knight in shining
armor Edward. Both men are strong Alpha
male but show it in two very different ways.
Edwards is a CEO, use to being in charge and having things a certain
way. Where Flynn it more of the tortured
Artist and takes life as it comes. Both
men are equally intense and very hot.
The chemistry between Gabby and Flynn and Gabby and Edward may be
different but both explode when they come together. I found myself having a hard time choosing
which guy I would choose for Gabby.
This the second series for M.S. Parker and Cassie Wild to collaborate
on and it’s just as amazing as their first.
I love how the characters draw you in but keep you from choosing which
one you like more and of course the ending of this book comes with a cliff
hanger that leaves you wondering what’s going to happen next. They are both great writers and I can’t wait
to see what is in store for Gabby in the next book!

Gabby loves Edward and loves how he wants to be with her but
the problem with their relationship is that Gabby wants to stand on her own two
feet. Edward doesn’t quite understand
but he’s willing to give her whatever she wants. With the surprise about Flynn relationship to
Edward, Gabby has decided not to tell Edward about her one night with Flynn
before they meet in fears she’ll lose him.
This is the second book in the series and it just keeps
getting better. Gabby and Edward do have
a passionate relationship but Edward tends to be reserved as he has the
responsibility of running the families multi-billion dollar company. When these two are alone in the bedroom Edward
who likes to be in-charge, shows just what he can do to Gabby.
It seems like Gabby thinks she can keep her modeling for
Flynn with one of Edward’s brothers Cody a secret but everyone knows that
secrets do stay that way for long. You can’t help but fall in love with Cody as
he is just the kind of friend anyone could ask for and it doesn’t hurt that he’s
good looking too. Cody can see what
Gabby is trying to hide but for her he will keep the modeling and what happen
between Flynn and her a secret.
This book has what any good book needs, hot guys, romance,
secrets and a nasty future mother-in-law who can make anyone cringe. I give Gabby credit for trying to keep things
with Flynn professional but I’d have to agree with her friend and roommate Kendra
that she is just asking for trouble by modeling for Flynn while engaged to
Edward. This may be full of drama but
the characters suck you in and you can’t help but want to know what going to
happen next. I’m hoping to find out why
Flynn is the brooding man he is and why he keeps dropping hints but never going
through to show Gabby how he truly feels.
I can’t wait for the next book!!

Gabriella Baine couldn’t be any happier than to marry the
man the of her dreams but the wedding plans are more than she can handle. To top it off her future mother-in-law has
turned into a monster when it comes to how the wedding should go. The growing attraction between Flynn and
herself is making it hard for her to stay away from him and this could cost
Gabby her relationship with Edward and lose her best friend in the process.

The more Gabby models for Flynn the harder it is to stay
away. The money is good but the lies to
Edward are building up. Flynn starts to
become more rude then usual and begins lashing out at everyone around him. As much as Gabby knows she should just quit
working for him, she still returns.
Edward has a way of doing things but he tends to want Gabby to follow
the way he likes things. Although he falls
in love with her because of who she is he seems to want to change her. Yes I get it’s his way of taking care of her
but sometimes it can be stifling and they end up pushing them away in the long
run.
M.S. Parker and Cassie Wild have another hit series on their
hands. Just when you think you know what’s going to happen between Flynn and Gabby
the unthinkable happens and you end up wondering if you ever really knew
them. I love how Flynn, Edward, Cody and
Gabby pull you in. Some you love to hate
and others you wish they could come out of the book so you can have them in
your life. The life changing event that
changes things for everyone leaves you wondering what is going to happen in the
next book. Good thing this comes out on
a weekly basis.

The news of Edward’s life being in danger has Gabby
re-thinking a few things including modeling for Flynn. As much as she loves it, maybe it’s time to move
on and find a job as a screen writer.
Just when Gabby thinks her life is getting back to normal the
unthinkable happens changing things for not only Gabby but for Flynn, Cody,
Edward and Kendra.
The ending to Pure Lust was the most action packed of the
four books. The twist and turns that
this book took kept me on my toes. I couldn’t
put this one down as the suspense was killing me and my anxiety was running
high. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to finish
the book as you couldn’t tell who would make it to the end be but at the same
time I had to find out what happened next. I have to say the ending was a
surprise in some ways but M.S. Parker and Cassie Wild end this series
perfectly. The collaboration continues
to be a thing of beauty and I would highly recommend the series to anyone who
loves a hot, steamy and sometimes suspenseful romance series.
