The last time I saw my best friend’s younger brother, he was a geek wearing braces. But when Cannon shows up to crash in my spare room, I get a swift reality check.

When Paige answered her best friend Allie’s
phone call she never thought her best friend would ask her to do her a favour
and let her younger brother Cannon crash in her spare room. At first Paige thought this would be easy
until Cannon came knocking on her door. Cannon is not quite the geeky boy she remembers
but a tall, lean, muscled and sinfully sexy man the makes her realise she’s in
over her head.
What you get when you have your best
friend’s geeky young brother who has turn into the Hot as hell soon to be
doctor is a whole lot of fiery, sometime tense and uncontrollable chemistry.
Paige knows that Cannon is off limits but when she got some liquid courage in
her it didn’t stop Paige from challenging Cannon to test his theory that every
woman he sleeps with falls in love with him.
Paige would love to knock down his cocky egotistical attitude down a
notch meanwhile getting an orgasm or two out of it in the process.
Cannon has had a crush on Paige since he
was 14 years old but being 4 years younger didn’t help him. With his string of bad lucky and crazy ex’s
has him staying at the one woman’s place he can’t have but wants more than anything.
Paige and Cannon must really like to play
with fire. They both are insanely
attracted to each other but know that Allie wouldn’t approve of any kind of
relationship between them other than friendship. The problem is with the intense connection
and fierce sexual attraction they have keeps pulling them together all the
while destiny keeps throwing obstacles in their path. It’s crazy how Paige and Cannon haven’t seen
or spoken to each other in so long but when they’re together most would think
they’ve been together the entire time as they move in sync like they have never
been apart.
With Cannon’s talk about his ex’s falling
in love with him too quickly, of course there has to be at least one who falls
in the crazy category and has to show up at the most inopportune time. This
drops a whole lot more on Paige’s lap as she has other fallouts she is dealing
with including what is happening between Cannon and her.
I’ve become a big fan of Kendall’s over the
years, so when she brought out this new series about roommates starting with
the hot best friend’s brother I couldn’t resist but. Kendall is an amazing writer who keeps coming
up with the touching, romantic and clever books. The Room Mates is a remarkable
book and I’m looking forward to seeing what else she comes up with for the rest
of the series.
